About Us
Graphique is a publisher of calendars, stationery and Home DecalsTM. For the past 30 years Graphique, has maintained its high standard in bringing to the market quality, innovative products with a dedication to fashion-forward design. Graphique has evolved from a small poster distributor to a multi-national publisher offering the best in printed formats of personal expression.
In 1979, Graphique owner and CEO Jean-Jacques Toulotte began his business in Boston, organizing exhibitions to sell original paintings. During this time he noticed that many independent framers had the interest in and potential for turning into poster shops. Six months later, Graphique was created and already selling to more than 1000 framers that turned into successful poster shops. Within two years, Graphique was supplying 10,000 retailers, while building a solid reputation and brand.
After creating a strong distribution network, Graphique identified an opportunity to publish and produce its own products. Graphique now was able to control the quality and the designs, creating exclusive products for its customers.
In 1989 Graphique began to diversify its product offering by developing a line of wall calendars. Graphique focused on better images and color reproduction and overall quality to create a superior product. From there, Graphique continued its growth with greeting cards and then stationery.
Today, Graphique has grown to become a multinational publisher with production centers in North America (United States and Canada), Europe and Asia. With this unique ability we are able to control the quality of the production.
All of our research is done in house. We take advantage of our presence in Europe and the US to find new trends and opportunities and to identify new artists. We select designs, fonts and papers the same way a chef will create a dish-picking the best ingredients, adding the right flavors and presenting it in an elegant way.
"After 30 years, I still have a passion about what I do every day. I am so fortunate to be able to create products that I love. This passion is not only in me anymore, but through my entire organization." -- Jean Jacques Toulotte, Founder and CEO
